Your girl looks a lot like my Barred Rock pullets, although the bars aren't quite as straight as the ones on mine. Perhaps, as another poster said, it could be a BR/Dominique mix. Pretty sure its a she too. She is so cute, congrats!
Whatever happed to the idea of Chickens as merely pets? Once you say they are livestock, that is going to turn off a whole bunch of people. Chickens are quieter and cleaner than any number of bird species that are kept at home. A reasonable number of chickens should be allowed as pets.

She's different then the other hens, almost acts male at times, a bit more aggressive and curious. She seems to have a longer neck than the others. Red face is kinda cool too.
