    Welded Wire for run, can't find 1X2, only 2X4

    got the 8 by 10 run finished all but the tin roof, have a tarp over it for now, my lil cjicks are growing fast and I need more room already, so am adding a 16 by 10 to the 8 by 10 pen,,am using the 2 by 3 inch welded wire from TSC, it costs $109 before taxes, will try to send pics...

    I purchased 25 white leghorns from Meyers a lil over a week ago,,all came in healthy,,and they sent one extra,,all still growing good, getting fiesty as heck, lol. I a, very pleased with Meyes and will use them for all my buying.

    thanks for all the input,,I will surely have marbles in the water for them,,I did the hold the beaks in the water,,only had to do a few the others followed suit quickly,,same with the food,,I did put some sugar in the water to,,trying to do the best I can for them,,mostly things I have learned...

    got my new chicks in from Meyers Hatchery yesterday, I ordered 25 white leghorns and got 26 all alive and well, got them through the mail, delivered to my house.,,they are all still doing great this morning just before I left for work,,all eating and drinking fine,,will send pics soon

    I was going to use a swimming pool like you have to start with but was given a nice plywood coop 2 by 2 by 6,,all I have to do is paint it, it was used under cover and is not pressure treated wood,,but I have kids that take care of my light work, lol
