    The neighbor probably isn't even a full mile away.... I have had to euthanize one of our girls before so I at least know I can do it although I don't want to, I'll probably hold off on any decisions on that front until I have confirmation on what we're dealing with. We need a better property...

    That's what I am thinking as well but I've never seen or heard of that so I had to ask for another opinion. They have constant access to oyster shell in the run, is there any other way you try to get calcium in? I've given them their egg shells back before but I'm not consistent with it.

    I tried getting it open with a stick but didn't get anywhere, it felt like pushing on a rubber ball... I already threw it away I wish I had tried harder to get it open now though although I'm not convinced I would have been able to stomach it.

    I forgot to add they did just get this mixed with oatmeal for seven days towards the end of last month just as a little precautionary boost for them. Not sure if it matters or not. They also get oregano oil mixed in with their water every time we change it which is minimum every other day.
