    How many hens have you seen in one nest box?

    i have heard from other ppl. that raise chickens for their eggs, that if you take some eggs and boil them, then mark them so you know which ones are boiled, then put them in different nest boxes, then the hens know that it is ok to lay their eggs there also... not sure if this works or not...

    How do I introduce new hens or chickens to my old flock. this flock is my first run with chickens, and am new at this myself. I reciently got a new Rooster (about 4 weeks old) to add to my hens, ( have 10 hens) about 7 weeks old, the hens are constently fighting with him. easiest way to explain...
