Duck eye problem
I thought my Lucy had a feather stuck i her eye after finding her today with her eye stuck shut, but this white thing does not come out with a flush or a gentle pull. I don't want to pull too forcefully in case it is a part of her eye that has been injured. Anyone else know eye anatomy well... -

Foot problem?
I've been going out there and putting antibiotic on his feet every day and it's not getting better. I am thinking of bringing him in every night for a soak and then antibiotic ointment. You don't think one hour inside every night for treatment will effect his acclimation to the cold do you? -

Weird squeak from duck
It sounds more like she's making a lip smacking sound. I described it as a squeak because it reminded me a the noise a small mouse would make. I'll post it to my Facebook -

You can hear her after the others quiet down. Is something wrong with her? Edit: I'll try changing the video format. It didn't work. -
Foot problem?
My theory is, that these spots on his feet stick out a little more than they are supposed to, making them more susceptible. I think once the skin in that area sloughs off it will be flatter and the problem will be solved. I called the vet today and she said if he is still eating, drinking, and... -

Foot problem?
There isn't much foraging happening here in the dead of winter. I did ask about possible frost bite but I think my question got lost in the wrap or no wrap debate. They have deep straw inside the house and out in the pen.
