I reread my question and spell correct put in hen instead of Peahen. I don't mix different fowl I was wondering do the Peacocks when there is more than one if they fight with each other to be the flock leader or can I add another Peacock in later years?
I was wondering if you can keep the more than one Peacocks together in with the peahens and if so how many.
Also, would they have to have been brought up (flock/litter mates) together?
I have 2 adult Peahen now, their mate passed away last spring I am getting one male but the guy is also...
Thank you for the reply, I was very confused not many sites or books tell you to let it set after slaughtering your fowl. I had just stumbled on something that said let it rest but really didn't say why, even Storey's book didn't mention much about it and me I just like to know every thing...
The chick will sing at random doesn't matter the time of day or night, it's nice to hear a little bit of spring when it is cold outside, I have to admit. I do know which Cuckoo Marans chick it is

I realize with chicken eggs you don't because of the embryo could break away from the veins
is that also true for peafowl eggs.?
Thank you for your time
Thank you, I have tried last year to hatch eggs and had a lot of quiters out of 4 , three got to the vein stage and the 4th got to just about formed stage. I did have the humidity up there too :/Thank god they were from my own peafowl. They are such a frail bird from conception to adult.
