The bird is wearing anklets, so it might be it is trained to fly to the glove. So maybe no chickens sacrificed here
I am sure someone here can correct me, but I believe the product we purchase as "Cornish game hens" in the grocery store are these Cornish crosses processed at 4-5 weeks. So you could process these guys now, and have a romantic dinner for two.

I can't agree with intentionally poisoning cats with antifreeze. What a horrible way to kill an animal, and totally non-discriminating. Any animal, be it a threat or not, will suffer death through kidney failure.
He needs to be on a leash outside 100% of the time until he truly understands what a come command is. Calling him, and having him ignore you, only teaches him that being called means nothing.

Invest in a freezer, then you can purchase chicken backs and other cheap cuts to meet their protein needs. The freezer will pay for itself very quickly.
