wow okay! i have been trying to just leave her alone. she is definitely safe from predators. how long do you think it will take the eggs to hatch? she started sitting on them about a week ago.
i have a female duck kept in a pen with a male and i've seen him breed her several times, and now she's sitting her eggs and she's made a nest. i would really like her to hatch them but is there anything in particular i should be doing to help her? i'm giving her almost unlimited egg maker food...
this is my first year in 4h and im doing a project about poultry. not really sure what to do the project board on.... maybe something like comparing chicken feeds, different chicken breeds, or parts of a chicken? any other ideas?

yeah i think it is dominance, but the other rabbit is really submissive and i think they just needed to figure out who's boss and now they are getting along fine. they were grooming and snuggling again today :) but yes i have more cages in case they do start fighting. and yes, theyre 3 months...
wow thank you SO much for all this info this was so helpful. as far as them living in the same cage, they do seem to get along fine. its a VERY large cage with plenty of room and so far i have not seen any fur scattered from them fighting. They actually seem to love eachother. they snuggle...

wow yes they are very beautiful. I personally love swans. They are so graceful and beautiful. if they weren't so expensive, i might look into buying one. The cheapest ones i can ever find are over $400.
haha yes she is. and thank you, but they are actually ducks not geese. :) and you know what is funny? the male duck, Dough, LOVES our yellow labrador and they play together all the time and he just follows her around. such silly animals
