    I tried the whole Cornish rock x thing and I don't care for it, I ordered barred rocks and dark Cornish to breed. I also have some new Hampshire reds that I here make a good meat bird when mixed with barred rocks. have any of you had good results with raising meat birds? I do not have to...

    Official BYC Poll: How many chickens do you have?

    I have 30 for now. 7 are Cornish x's about do. 5speckled Sussex, 4 Golden Comet pullets, 4 red sex link, 3 new Hampshire reds and 6 assorted bantams. I have 18 dark Cornish and 7 barred rocks on the way.
