new to hatching ducks, first duckling seems weak.. :(
He's ok!!! :D jumping around. gave him some glucose water... we are so happy because he was an assisted hatch, didn't disconnect his umbilical cord and i thought he won't make it. worst part was he was the only egg from his mother who suffered a near death attack from a predator. she's ok now...- gooseman1983

new to hatching ducks, first duckling seems weak.. :(
our first pekin duckling hatched this morning but has been lying flat on the bator. he occassionally wakes up and trots around and falls flat again. is this normal for day one after hatching?- gooseman1983
