I called an avian vet somewhat close to me but they are only answering emergency calls so I left a message. I’m not sure if this counts as an emergency I don’t want to make someone’s choking dog wait
17 now 13 in total, but 1 is separated out because he would fight with my other rooster (one of the chickens that passed) and 8 are chicks in my garage. So just 4 left in my main flock but there was 8
How do I do that? Is there I process I need to go through and anything I need to do to prepare...
Purina flock raiser crumbles and a little bit of producers pride 5 scratch grains. They free range every day so there’s stuff in the yard they could’ve eaten I wouldn’t know about

4 Chickens who were perfectly fine, now dead.
I hope I can figure out what happened so my other chickens can be...
That is a possibility :) he does do the dripped wing thing quite often. He does have spurs but he’s never really used them. He bit me once after this post but hasn’t really done anything other than that. But hopefully it’s because he’s attached to me like you said
Thank you both! The last time I made starter I was able to get it going pretty well but after I made it into a dough (and then placed in a metal bowl and it started eating away at it) I had trouble getting another starter going out of the leftovers from the jar. Any reason this might be?
