    Ouch, my rooster injury

Hi , I understand totally he's 3 years old and I had to train him at 4 months as he got too big for his boots, took me a couple of months (wearing welding gloves) before we found peace. One of my older hens (the head girl), is probably on her last legs , she was getting tired too easily so I...

    Ouch, my rooster injury

Hi everyone, just need some advice. My rooster attacked me earlier today, it's the worst time yet, although there was only a puncture wound (which managed to penetrate my boot) and very little blood, my ankle has now swelled up and I'm having difficulty putting weight on it. I've had a few run...

    Feeling guilty

Kept her apart for a couple of days, Jeff sat by her all the time, he was on one side of the fence and she stayed sat on the other side like romeo and juliet bless them. He's not bothered her since. The feed I got them to help regenerate their feathers seems to be kicking in too.. Fingers crossed

    Feeling guilty

Hi all, Just need some advice. I have a hen who's 50% of her feathers have been missing for some time. She seems happy as far as I can tell as she's eating, drinking and laying daily. I was concerned as her poor skin is red raw and inflamed often. She is the same age as my rooster, my other...

    Should I be concerned?!

Mixed breeds really hard to say what these are. Getting concerned now as there is only a small crack like circle and no definite hole. It's been over 24 hours since this started so I don't think it's looking good

    Should I be concerned?!

No touching just worrying senslessly, my lord, I didn't worry this much when I was having my sons

    Should I be concerned?!

Not interfering but got back ache as I've been say on a little plastic chair just watching for 2 hours... Need to get a life I have another egg in there too at the same age but nothing from that one at all is that normal (I'm starting to act like an interfering grandmother)

    Should I be concerned?!

One of my eggs started moving last night (day 20) there's a small crack in the air sac end but very little has happened since. I'm probably being over sensitive but is this normal? It's the first time I've hatched my own eggs so could possibly be a silly thing to ask
