I have struggled with my quails but ended up with one female and two males, as one male killed one of them. I separated them but put them beside each other. The female has been laying an egg a day for weeks but is now laying eggs without shells. They get turkey grower meal worms and crushed... -
Mixed Breed Ducks!
Just curious but what does it mean when a duck chitters and wiggles her head around when walking toward me? She has only been with me for two months and is getting used to me but this is new. The drake is much tamer and follows me around. -

Sorry. Forgot to add info this is my duck which i think is a buff Orpington with the head of my drake. He was a rescue. And looked like a buff female until he got a bit older. I'm hoping the are a buff pair. But who knows. I will try to get a better pic of both. -

I have 3 F 1 M jumbo quail in a coop with 1 brahma hen 7 months , a7 month silkie pair and a 4 month silkie/bantam x. Quail are 4 months. No quail eggs they all seem to get along. Should they be laying by now?
