    the only thing i can find even clos to food grade DE is at pool supply stores. it is pure DE with no pesticides or bait to attract and kill pests. dont know if it would work but guy at pool store says most of his supplies are food grade just not sure if he would use it around irds or not.

    ok i did some investigating around the neighbors after he went to work. there is something dead either next to in the bushes or under his house. i knew it wasnt the chickens!!! thanks. im pretty big on chicken hygene cause im not fond of the smell myself.

    Ive had my chicken coop for a week now and my neighbor is complaining about the smell. he says everytime the wind blows it stinks. i go back and it smells like pine shvings to me. what should i do?

    thanks alot guys. im gonna give it a try, at least till i find out how many roos i have for sure then the extra roos will make great soup. i have enough land for a pretty big run. so why not see what happens.

    ok so i have an 8'x8' x7' tall shed im turning into a coop i got 24 chick cause the lady at tsc told me id be lucky if half lived getting them from there. so 3 weeks later i have 24 healthy chicks and a tiny coop with no money to make a bigger one. ideas???

    no not all of them. but i did buy 12 reds, the others were just cause they were cute and i couldnt stand watching he kids toture them at the store. ill post a pic in a while.
