    hen turned very aggressive- what can I do??

    Just out of curiosity, is the aggressive hen a Rhode Island red? I stopped keeping this breed and any of the 'red star' or 'red sex link' breeds after finding all of them to be nasty hens. Things have been much calmer since I made this decision.

    newby introduction - from Snohomish WA

    Yes, Mr. Rescue is my third light Brahma rooster since 1986 and I really like their mellowness. He's been with me since summer of 2009. He was dumped at a local 'shopping village' with a country theme that has free-range poultry...I assume he was purchased as a pullet and pulled a surprise.
