    Thick Black Scab on Hen’s Leg

    It’s her fourth back toe that is just a nub. I’m assuming she had some sort of injury prior to living with me. It was all completely healed like it is now when I got her. The same toe on the other foot is also a little short and missing the toenail.

    Here is an updated photo I took today when I changed her bandage. The bloody area is actually thick blood clot it is not actively bleeding.
