We lost all our chickens but one to who knows what. Then we gave the one that survived to friends. It's kind of late to get chicks, but they'll be laying by next summer if we get them now. Any breed suggestions? I was thinking about golden sex links.
We had to evacuate Oregon wildfires, and left out out thirteen chickens and a duck I’m guessing they retreated out to the woods, very sad 😭. The day after we got back our Buff Orpington came out of the woods, if we got chicks would she take care of them? She is very lonely. Any breed suggestions?
HELP! three months ago we got some chicks and two ducks, the chicks grew up, there were ten chicks and only two turned out to be hens the others were accidental meat chickens or roos, that's kind of off the point, but anyway one of the ducks is a drake, surprise, but he keeps trying to breed...
I heard that if you farm your own worms, you can have fishing bait, chicken treats, or fertilizer on hand at all times. If you know anything about worm farming please post below!
