Hen with injured foot - help please

I made an appointment for her with the vet that's 70 miles away. But they can't see her until Sunday afternoon so any advice is appreciated.

Hen with injured foot - help please

Unfortunately that's not an option or I would've done that two weeks ago. Closest vet that I've found that will see poultry is 70 miles from me.

Hen with injured foot - help please

I have a small flock of 4 hens. My favorite hen (of course) got injured two weeks ago. She got her leg stuck in some garden netting while I was out for the day. I think she fought with it a lot and just tangled herself up worse. Anyway, when I found her she was on her back and her leg appeared...

Update on my sick roo - photo and question

The lump is the width of my fingers in this photo and runs up the entire back of his neck. His skin doesn't look like this anywhere else on his body.

Update on my sick roo - photo and question

My rooster has been sick for a week now. It started mainly with him just not acting right. Standing away from the girls, head and tail down. I brought him in and cared for him inside. I've started Tylan and I've wormed him. He's just getting worse. Now he's sleeping all the time unless I...

    My rooster is sick :(

I assume I would need to buy the antibiotic online? I've been to petco and my local feed store and they don't have anything. From reading on this forum I'm thinking the gurgling with drinking may be water going into his lungs. :(

I don't see evidence of mites or lice. His droppings are green and white and watery

    My rooster is sick :(

Hi and thank you for the response. He has lost weight but only over the past few days of being sick. His crop feels normal, as it always has. The only odd thing I've noticed is that when I give him water I hear an odd gurgling noise. Like if you have a sick stomach kind of gurgling sound

    My rooster is sick :(

Any help would be appreciated. We don't have a vet within 100 miles that will treat poultry so I'm on my own. A few days ago I noticed that he looked unwell. He was standing off by himself and had his head and tail feathers down. I hand fed him some mealworms and he happily accepted. After...
