This is a picture of my chickens. The La Fleche sort of bends in. I have them in the house right now because this weekend my fiance and I are going to try to build a chicken run, we already have the coop. Wish us luck.

If you are trying to hand raise them I want to say about it's safe at 4-6 weeks you can pull them out as long as their eyes are still closed. If you are hand taming them, that's when their eyes are open I think it's at 8 to 9 weeks, but I'm not sure because my mom and I have always hand raised...
Can't tell, the males have a dome shaped head while the females have a more flat shape to their heads. My mom and I use to breed them about 3 years ago.
From the looks from the picture, I want to say male, but I would need a side profile.
