I bought an assortment of hatching eggs that could include sizzles, frizzles, smooth silkies. These babies are 8 weeks old today.
The first question, would they be considered smooth silkies? And secondly, are they both Roos?

They did not. I think it’s just luck of the draw, honestly. 4 of the 5 are smooth sizzle, so I’m hoping this next batch will give me the “curled” sizzle. (Not sure I’m even using the correct terms lol)
You know, I think I’m going to do that. I got them from a pretty reputable breeder, and as I was looking at the chicks earlier, 2 of them have single combs! I paid $85 for 12 sizzle hatching eggs and didn’t get a single one.
Well, darn. I went out on a limb and spent way more money than I should on 12 sizzle hatching eggs... only 5 hatched, and not a single one of them are sizzles! All the others are smooth silkies. But hey... at least they are cute!
I bought a variety of sizzle hatching eggs. She’s a 12 week old showgirl. Is there a certain type for this feathering, or is it just typical of a showgirl?
Anyone want to take a guess on the breed of this baby? I bought an assortment of hatching eggs, and unfortunately didn’t see which egg this one came from. Possibly a polish or FBCM?
