    Thank you. If my chickens are free range will they pick up small pebbles for that purpose or do I need to still add grit?

    How do I tell the pecking order with chickens? What is the best way to establish that I am above her? I shooed her away and then she kept coming back and pecked me again.

    No she looked perfectly fine. The only thing that was different about her was the fact that she couldn't walk. I separated her from the rest of the ducklings and had fresh water where she could reach it. She passed away not long ago. Still not sure the cause of death. All of my other ducklings...

    I recently bought 6 new Ducklings since my Pekin ducks passed away. I know that the darker ducks are Mallards but what breed is the lighter colored ones?
