What age do I start giving my chicks grit? What are different ways to give then grit? I was told I could take a chunk of grass out of my yard and give them that for grit?
We think one of our young turkeys has a broken leg, and we aren't sure how to fix it or what to do? We think one of the other chicken or ducks hurt him. We separated them of course. Any ideas on what we can do if we can do anything? I'm really worried and want my little guy better.
They were all wet, I tried drying them. They're just not as active and the ones foot seem swollen and the others wing looks hurt. I separated them from the others. Our one chick (hes larger) was wrapping his wings around them.
