Oh thank you sooo much. That gives me a lot of hope that he’s got a real chance. I’m already obsessed with that baby and I want it to have the best shot I can give it. I named him/her Spooky and I miiiight stare at him so much that he gets uncomfortable lol
🥲 Your baby is absolutely precious...
I hatched some call ducklings and one of my babies came out with his/her little bill messed up. I’m not even sure if it has actual nostrils and it’s tongue sticks out the side of its bill but it’s full of energy and running around with the other baby’s. I was just wondering if y’all thought...
That’s what I was thinking but I have NO Silver Appleyards in my flock so I was so confused! I just had no idea where this one came from. But I didn’t realize that Pekins could have other colors in their genetics besides white. I was expecting little cow spotted babies at the least. These babies...

Hey again! So I candled a duck egg on day 8 and everything looked great. Today is day 10 and I’m not sure if it’s alive anymore or not. No weird smell, no blood ring. It’s just sooo dark inside and I don’t really see the veins like I used to. I’m still holding out hope for this one but I just...
Thank you!! I’ve been so worried that I’m doing something wrong. I keep the temp at 99.5 and humidity at 50-55% as I’ve read for duck eggs. I’m so excited!
Hello everyone! I recently started raising and loving on duckies because they bring me so much joy. I decided to try incubating some eggs and this is my very first time doing it. I was wondering if this looked normal for a day 8 egg. Excuse the smiley face.. that’s so I knew if my turner was...
