I have 8 hens that have been laying for about 2 months. Some lay in nesting boxes and a couple lay under a brick structure that hold their water source. The last 2 days there have been 2 eggs out in the middle of the coop in the dirt...why?

Thanks for all the welcome wishes! We have 4 Americauna, 2 buff Orpington and 2 rock barred. Or at least that is what they told us! They are growing very quickly...I have been reading some of the helpful articles on here!
