    Help! Is this chick doomed?

Yes! His head was at the pointed end! He's out of the egg now, drying off. His yolk sac is fully absorbed thankfully! He's chirping and trying to get his legs under him. His legs are very stiff, I guess he's weak because he didn't push out of the egg. He hasn't given up yet!

    Help! Is this chick doomed?

Thank you. So there was no attempt to hatch for over 30 hours after pipping. My mother was trying to assist him all day and now he is just in the membrane. Unfortunately, his yolk sac isn't absorbed, so he wasn't ready even though he pipped so long ago. Don't know what to do now. We probably...

    Help! Is this chick doomed?

Opened the incubator ever so slightly to turn him because the other chick had knocked him pipped side down and I was afraid he'd suffocate. I've seen a lot of threads that say humidity in the brinsea mini eco doesn't suffer badly if you open it a crack. There were only two viable eggs, so I...

    Help! Is this chick doomed?

It pipped about 15 hours ago and now looks like this? Is it doomed? :( No sign of movement, but I couldn't see any movement the past few days either in my egg that has hatched successfully

    Newb mistakes, advice greatly appreciated!

One made it safely into the World! Ten hours after pipping, no progress since in the other one. Is that normal?

I don't know, we use the brinsea mini eco and don't have anything to measure humidity. We just follow what the manual says, which is two days before hatching fill both sides of the well with water. Good news though, woke up this morning to two pipped eggs! I think one zipped as well, but it's...

    Newb mistakes, advice greatly appreciated!

Day 21 starts in a couple of hours, and there hasn't been any signs of movement since day 18 :( Day 18 they were moving quite a bit, but both have stopped now. Is that normal? I feel like at this stage they should be moving quite a lot, starting to work on hatching.

Thanks! Now another worry, since I removed the eight duds this evening, the temp in the incubator has dropped half a degree to about 37 C! Should I tamper with it to try and bring it back up? The brinsea mini eco is awkward to adjust.

    Newb mistakes, advice greatly appreciated!

Hi all, We are hatching for the first time using the Brinsea Mini Eco manual incubator. We started off with ten eggs. Our first mistake was putting in two duck eggs and eight chicken eggs at the same time. Unfortunately, most of the eggs were duds. Nothing formed in six of the chicken eggs, and...
