    That's what I have heard! And that is why, this time I am going to add a roost in the run. In case they get in a little bit of a squabble, it also adds somewhere for them to go, if they cant be let out just then.

    Actually, the breeder I talked to will take a Silkie back if it is a rooster... So I don't know what the difference is.

    Okay. Yes, that is the thing. I don't have the chicks yet, so I don't know their personalities. They might be pecking each other constantly, and they might get along just fine. But is that something I would notice right away? Or does it take some weeks?
