I have read people use sand in the run, but I was wondering about in the coop, if people use sand? Also is it just normal sand like you use in sand lot for kids or a pool filter?
What about pea gravel?
I think I read someone saying they can scoop the sand up like a kitty litter box?

I would add to say this, the wheels were my last part as well, if I could offer any advice, it would be only try to raise the coop, 3 inches or so, and and if you use a arm to pull the tractor up, mount the wheels at a vetical stud, so you can place the arm in a vertical postion when its raised...

We love our chicks and we ordered 15 from Meyer and they gave us 20. Of the 20 we gave 5 to a friend who wanted some to raise as well. But the other 5 were random I believe the other 3 are buff orps, but we have two that are noticeably different, being chick virgins can y'all help identify these...
Thank y'all for all the welcomes, we ordered from McMurray 15 buff orps should have our girls about April 9th seems so long but we can get the coop going wit the great weather we have been having.
