Greenest of poops. 7 weeks just moved to out door run.

Diet, cool water, a mix of organic and non-organic chickstarter. A dish of grit. I got them as day old "brown egg-layers" from Quebec (I live 600km (350miles) away) at the local feed store. (Didn't realize I had better local options). They are 7 weeks old.

Greenest of poops. 7 weeks just moved to out door run.

Good day. I have five chickens, they all seem to be alert and active. The previous night they had full crops. This morning empty. They all have mobility of the wings (I lifted them up gently and they didn't protest overly, just shuffled in to place). Not sure if the picture does this poop...

    Nipple watering vacuum questions

I solved it by putting a hole bigger than a pinhole (but not much). I didn't feel this warranted a new thread, I just wanted to say how much I love water nipples! It takes out the constant cleaning of the water dish. Saves time and is cleaner :)

    I just don't know better.

Just gently falling asleep and then getting up and running around. Just laying down face first very slowly. Reminds me of my time in the military. Basic training. Very tired. But can't sleep. At five hours, I'm going to introduce them to the electric heating pad hen. Hopefully it all works out...

    I just don't know better.

I have starter feed and no grit. They have been eating and drinking non-stop for two hours while flopping out. This is OK right? Please delete this thread if it is. Sorry, I feel bad for not doing enough research. They are just voracious eaters? Edit They are day olds. Brooder. 80f (best I can...

    Frozen pickled eggs.

I love pickled eggs. I accidently forgot a jar in the freezer (I wanted to cool it down quicker). 100% absolutely horrible frozen.

    Good day!

Good day! Oh jeez, I have chicks coming in a couple weeks and I have to get ready! Breed? No idea! How many? Five. My other hobbies. Electronics. I might be able to share information on modifying heat pads with electronic auto-shutoff. All the best!
