    Good idea. The two with her at the moment are leaving her alone but they are very gentle. I might make her a raincoat for the area for when she has to go back out. Bad or good idea???

    We have a good setup which can be locked at night. I trusted my daughter to lock them up... big mistake ☹️. We are keeping them locked up more at the moment in their coup and run even during the day, not letting them put to graze. They are not doing much as they are in shock still. Feeding them...

    My darling 9 year old australorp got attacked by a Fox last night. She has a big chunk of feathers missing from the middle of her back and some little chunks of her flesh taken. It is a bad wound but we are blessed to have her alive. Henrietta, her name, went to the vet and had an antibiotic...

    Yes we did last night and it went well. Here they are. The youngest cuddled up to an adult silkie we have in the nesting box as pictured. Very sweet. They were probably happier sleeping with the other hens last night. Thanks for all the advice.
