    You absolutely can as long as you collect eggs on a daily basis. So that a han is not sitting on them incubating them you have no worries

    This is 100% okay nothing to worry about! the sand is actually pretty good for them. It is considered Grit chickens eat larger Pebbles whereas chicks eat chick Grit which is the consistency of sand. Chickens that free-range do you pick up grit in different forms naturally
