    From my 18 week old gold sex link Ancona layed one today too but off the roost and it broke. This brown egg from the sex link is pretty big for a first egg I think she will lay really big ones down the road. Sorry about the poor photo quality. 2 ounces-Is that big for a first egg??

    I found them to be very pretty and friendly but not a very good layer,especially when it's cold. Love campine roosters. They never seem to be aggressive.
