Does Penrod have a daughter or is it a son?

My Buff Brahma Penrod seems to be very gentle around his offspring, a single hatch six weeks ago. My burning question for you gender experts is Izzy a cockerel or pullet?

Looks like a girl. I would give it a little more time, but I stand by female.

Of course, that's what I wanted to hear!

If my memory serves me, it seems her daddy was getting pretty colorful by this age - deeper golds, a blush of orange beginning on the sides, and even a green tinged tail feather, if I remember right.

But she sure acts like a roo. She's a terror! She's the boldest one of the chicks in her brood, and is always out front on any new adventure. But her comb hasn't turned red yet, and she has overall pale feathering, so I lean toward her being a pullet, too.

Female so far, but Brahmas can be slow to mature so I wouldn't count on it for a few months more.

Can I see a better pic of the comb? I think I see pink, and an awfully large comb anyways, so I'm saying roo.
They do take a while to mature, but I'm seeing some pink in a big comb which is saying boy to me.
