Mine started laying Sunday and so far I've gotten 14 eggs from my 11 BO's. I think only 4 have started laying because that's the most I've gotten in one day. So far my egg count per day is: 1, 2, 4, 1, 4, and I've gotten 2 so far today.
Thanks! We've been using it for a few months now and have only had to manually fill the waterer a handful of times. I'm very pleased with how it turned out and how well it's working.
I have 12 20-week-old BO's...one rooster and the rest hens. I just started getting eggs yesterday. The rooster has been especially aggressive toward me for a few days now. Is it normal for a roo to be especially aggressive when his hens are laying, or is this just a coincidence and there's...

Here's my Youtube channel...I have several videos posted that should give you...
I'm a middle school/high school band director...just finished my 11th year teaching. I started on trombone, but nowadays can play just about anything that you'd see in a high school band.
Sorry for the title paraphrased from Finding Nemo. I introduced the cat (who was picked up as a stray several months ago and nursed back to health) to the chickens this afternoon. Previously he's been locked in the garage when we let them out of the coop to forage. He seemed disinterested...
Here's my coop. All that's left is finishing the lid on the nesting box.
I've posted this video elsewhere, but it explains the rainwater harvesting nipple watering system and feeder I built:
