    Glad to help. But, Really I find this time very exciting. It's the beginning of a new life that I have played a huge part in making happen. It's not god like somebody else has that role. But, It sure is empowering. Guess it's just the farm-boy in me.

    Anyone else due for lockdown?

    I'm in day 2 of lockdown. 2 hatched already and 6 more pipped. 1 still waiting. I started with 12 and found 3 weren't fertile. So my hatch rate is pretty good this time around. I'll upload a pic tomorrow.

    Im worried about a thick shell, please read.

    I'm pretty sure it will be just fine. You might think the shell is thicker but, it isn't. try using a brighter light. My Araucana eggs wouldn't candle at all and they have all pipped today. Two are already hatched. This is day 19.
