    Baby Chick Leg

    Our first baby chick has a bad leg. We thought it was splayed at first but now he’s circling it up more and more. I don’t see him drinking and feeding like the other chick in the brooder with him. Questions: What do we do about his leg? What should I do about making sure he’s eating and drinking?

    Ok thank you! Is a time limit I’ve heard 24 hrs but these two that hatched are wreaking havoc in the incubator and jumbling the other eggs around!

    Thank you! We just noticed the break in the shell this morning not sure how long exactly it’s been but we will wait til tomorrow morning and see Thank u for the link!

    have two eggs hatching right now and one I’m afraid of the membrane. Where the shell is broken has a tan like film. I can see the chicks beak pecking through the opening but I’m not sure it’s making progress I don’t want it to die.
