    Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Information

Here they are at 6-7 weeks old. They are my big mystery birds for sure! Their feathers are coming in so slow, but beautiful!! I’m hoping for at least one pullet. I see barely any red, and no waddles yet. They are so gorgeous that I will be very sad if I end up with a rooster:(

    Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Information

This is my first time raising Blue Laced Res Wyandottes. I purchased 2 along with other breeds and this breed seems to be feathering rather slowly. Is this normal? I have attached some pictures. I do not see a read comb or wattle at 5 weeks, however their stance and disposition says rooster. I...

Blue Laced Red Wyandotte Pullet or Rooster, 4 Weeks

I have 2 BLR Wyandottes and I would love input because they do not look like these pictures at all! They are feathering SO much slower than the chicks that hatched the same day. Different breeds so maybe that’s a factor, but do I have 2 cockerels, and are they even BLR Wyandottes?

    Whiting True Blue Chat Thread!

I bet those brown chipmunk stripes are WTB! I have also gotten a white/blue WTB. The chipmunk stripes are my favorite! They turn out gorgeous!! Here are the 2 “chipmunks” we got. They are 15 weeks now but we received them at 2 days old:)

    Whiting True Blue Confusion...

I will tomorrow, we’ve had storms for days so I have not had a chance to get better pics. Hopefully tomorrow morning we will have sunshine and I can grab some good pics for sure:)

    Whiting True Blue Confusion...

I did get straight run... At this age, if there is any red/pink in their comb they are most likely cockerels then? They are all so pretty and different, and too small to make meat birds, so I’m hoping my pullets outnumber the cockerels:)

First time mom of 7 chicks

Thank you! I will put wire between them this next week and maybe by week 3 I can supervise their time together.

First time mom of 7 chicks

Our black Silkie recently hatched her first babies on 5/9-5/11. They are all very active and she so far is taking great care of them. We have a large coop and put plywood up to separate the hen from the rest of the flock a few days before she hatched. When do I take the divider down and let them...

    Whiting True Blue Confusion...

I have 5 Whiting True Blue chicks, 2 are 15 weeks old and 3 of them are 13 weeks old. I know nothing about this breed and I’m having the hardest time figuring out if I have cockerels or pullets because each one is so different! I already have an Ayam Cymani Rooster so if I have more cockerels I...

    Whiting True Blue Chat Thread!

I have 5 Whiting True Blue and they are precious! I have a lady in Hillsborough NC that breeds the Most and they are adorable! I am also very interested in finding out more, I’ve searched everyone and there’s not a ton of information out there on WTB. If anyone knows if I have hens or roosters...
