Should I start keeping a light on in the chicken house to help since it is getting darker sooner?

    What to feed Ducks?

My ducks are about 5 months old. I also have some older ducks. I think Purina makes a Flock Raiser but I think the protein is about 20%. I thought ducks didn't need that much protein. That is why I have just been feeding a grower feed. It has a lower protein. None of my ducks are laying so...

Review by '' on item 'Welsummer'

I have only had Welsummers about 3 months now but I am really enjoying the breed. They do tend to be a little shy but are curious and not overly flighty. Can't wait till I start getting some eggs.

    Medicated Chick Food

Just wondering what everyones thoughts are on medicated chick food. I have always fed a starter non medicated feed to my chicks. I just purchased some chicks from a breeder and she recommend I feed medicated feed.
