Giving ral antibiotic to gosling
I don't have pics of his navel, but the backstory- a goose stepped on his egg while hatching, and the egg was bleeding. Hey all, I've got a 2 week old African x Chinese gosling that had a yolk sac that wasn't completely absorbed when hatched. I took it to our avian vet today and was told there's an infection brewing. Chinese Geese....um..... personality
Update on my two Chinese from the original thread: They are both females, so we got a Chinese x African gander. Everyone is settled in and doing great. We hatched our first egg last week from this group. They are a quirky breed, but we love them.- HollyOakFarm

Angel Wing American Buff
Thank you! I was so afraid of them getting angel wing and have been watching them like a hawk (pardon the choice of words). I thought it was niacin deficiency that caused it, and made sure they had plenty in their feed..... I also didn't think it was fixable once it occurred. I'm glad to know...- HollyOakFarm

Coccidiosis Vaccine otc
Were you all/y'all aware there's finally a Coccidiosis Vaccine available otc? Has anyone tried it? I have issues every spring/summer with young chicks that have Corid resistant coccidia. I order and give them Endocox.... and that works, but I'd rather avoid it if i could. I've talked to vets...- HollyOakFarm
