    Sick Hen

    Overall I've been feeding my flock with extra calcium, and her crop is not hanging and it doesn't feel empty. Her egg is decent, she used to lay soft eggs but ever since I've been giving more calcium its improved. She is a little heavier than most of my other hens.

    Here’s some pics I just took. She is also immunized when I got her from the hatchery. The first pic shows they eye with the tissue but the rest of the pics shows no symptoms.

    She or he was hatched around June 1st and don’t know what it’s breed or gender. Haven’t heard any crowing yet but it’s crown is pretty big. Silki sized right now.

    I found this article too that they are ancestors from Mallards. Is that a possibility I’m getting mallard ducklings. And also the yellow ducklings behind the mallard are the welsh ducklings.

    Here’s a picture of one of her ducklings, its the one to the very out. The duckling is a pekin mixed and I don’t own any mallards so I’m sure that the mallards are from the welsh.
