Is she aloud to go out or is she locked in with the eggs? Are the eggs warm to the touch my broody neglected one of her eggs and it got to cold and died . They could take longer depending on how often she got off of them.

I just had one hatch on day 23 and had to help the other out of its shell on day 25 after it peeped because my broody kept burying it in the shavings. The only way to tell if there alive is to look for movement seeing veins is a good thing.

Are your two broody hens going up to roost at night with the other chickens or sittin on eggs all night thats how I always know if there broody or not.
