I dont know what to do for this baby. She cant get off her back and when we roll her back around within a few seconds later she ends up on her back again! Her little legs seem fine and she's kicking around trying to flip over, I feel so helpless not being able to help her.. has anyone else...
UPDATE: baby hatched just a few minutes ago. It looks very tired and isn't doing much moving, just laying under mommas wing and chirping some. Hoping baby will be ok..
One of my hens just hatched four eggs in the last week. Two survived, and today there is another baby on the way. Only thing is she looks stuck, one wing out and you can only see one side of its face and you can hear it chirping loudly. Its been a few hours that she's been in this position, now...

:idunnodon't know what to do, baby still has umbilical attached. Baby was born @4 a.m. Sunday morning. Dried. & as we were moving it to brooder we realised the umbilical is completely dried but still stuck on. We've already had to clean vent for pasty butt once today and was a little nervous...
Just noticed this baby covered in blood a little earlier. I brought her inside cleanrd her and separated her from the rest of the babies. Now she's bleeding again. What should I put on her to stop the bleeding?
I have raised different breed chicken. But I honestly do not remember any of them looking this bare! Should I be worried? Or is this normal for leghorn? Only a few of them don't have bare spots...
