This baby hatched and its belly looks so weird to me, I never saw the others this fresh, so maybe it’s normal and I just don’t know?

She is just in a nesting box, so I suppose the others could be yes. We’ve had another one go broody a couple times and she just keeps them in the nesting box and hatches them fine so we left this one to do the same. But maybe that’s a problem?

Thank you, it was hard, I hate that we lost her but I wanted to make sure my others weren’t at risk. I’m glad to hear they most likely are safe. won’t be the same without miss fluff butt.
