This is the only crate we have unfortunately:/ She’s inside in our laundry room so no flies are getting to her, but her would is not scabbed over. It’s about the size of a quarter 😬
That may help trying to bring in her sister. I’ve not even witnessed her drink any water by herself :( I have been giving her the electrolytes and probiotics in a syringe by mouth.

Last time I gave her antibiotics that I would mix in her food. I planned on doing that this time too, but the no eating 🤷🏻♀️
I also gave her a dose of Miconidazole incase she has vent gleet thats causing this reoccurrence. Maybe I should keep giving her that several more days?

My almost 8 year old RIR has flystrike. We soaked her and got all the maggots off, got her dry and applied an antibiotic ointment. I have fish antibiotics, Amoxicillin 500mg, what dosage can I give her orally?
Quick update: the antibiotics seem to be helping...droppings appear normal. This is her taking a dust bath, happy as can be! Coconut oil seemed to solve her crop problem as well! She’s back to her normal self, eating and drinking well and enjoying her life.

The coconut oil and crop massage is helping! Her crop is much softer now! Still doing the antibiotics as well...hopefully she’ll be free of troubles once finishing them
