Antibiotics for flystrike?

My almost 8 year old RIR has flystrike. We soaked her and got all the maggots off, got her dry and applied an antibiotic ointment. I have fish antibiotics, Amoxicillin 500mg, what dosage can I give her orally?

Many use 57 mg per pound or 250mg twice a day for a 5 pound chicken. Give it for 7-10 days. Maggots can continue to hatch out for over 24 hours, so several repeat soaks may be required.
