Raising single chicks
Has anyone ever raised a chick from just a few hours old because the mom wouldn’t accept or care for it. This is Solo who I’ve raised inside. New momma hen won’t care for late hatchlings
I have a one year old hen who was sitting on 17 eggs. 8 hatched around the same time several days ago. The rest of the eggs are hatching now but she isn’t taking care of them. She let one die right beside her nest and this morning there was another one shivering and separated from the others...- iamgranny

My Goodness it is a small world! I do most of my shopping at Rural King for the girls. It's about 10 minutes from us lol. Thank you all for the advice.
