My ducklings are still in the brooder and are growing very very very very quick. So fast that they can't quite cover all their skin with yellow down, I can see pink poking through. Is that normal, or a problem?
She's never seen ducks before and she listens to her humans very well. I think I'll give it a shot, seeing as how 'gentle' and 'leave it' 'stop' and the like are parts of her vocabulary.

I also used a nice digital thermometer and fixed my lamps to be the right temperature. Previously I fell a little short. I positioned the lamps so that there is a completely dark corner. The water dish is more restrictive. They are sleeping........ Thank god.

Yes, I plan on keeping him. I'm divided between my mothers and fathers house, my father has a pond and a great backyard. My mother has a great backyard as well. I've heard quite a bit that it's a good idea to get a couple instead of one, and I think I'm going to do that.
