    Drawing?

Some beautiful work here! Tiramisu, I love your portraits. Here's a piece I did last year. Was sitting at the hospital waiting while a friend had some surgery done. I was pretty pleased with it. Finished it just as she came from the recovery room.

    Whoooohooo! Check out these eggs!

Yes, she lays one every few days. She doesn't lay every day, but she'll skip a day then lay one of these. She actually laid two eggs one day. I swear I thought that wasn't possible, but one of them did and I assume it was her. I have 3 hens in that pen. I got three eggs one day and four the...

    Free!!! Barnevelder Roo, Central Alabama

I've got three beautiful 28 week Barnevelder roos and I really only need one. Gonna keep the second as backup just in case something were to happen to the boss, but that third one really needs a new home. I'm in western Jefferson County. Pickup only

    Whoooohooo! Check out these eggs!

The dark one is the first egg from my Barnevelder girls and the giant is from one of my NH Reds. She lays one like this once or twice a week.

    Rockhard eggs

I just use egg gourds in my nests, but I can see lots of other uses for that stuff! Might have to see if I can find some.

    Tuscaloosa? Anyone?

Try the Alabama thread. I'm west of Birmingham. https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=29002 Don't know if I did that right or not.

    Pysanky anyone??

Quote: You can spray it with a sealer first, probably should use a couple of coats, then the varnish, or whatever finish you like. I use inks and dyes on my gourds and have the same problem.

    Eeewww Gross!

I don't think there's anything wrong with them, but I just can't bring myself to eat them. I cook em and feed em to the dogs.

Your roos – good or bad? *Updated Chart on Page 15*

I've got one bada$$ new hampshire red that's gonna go to freezer camp this weekend. He drew blood on Monday and I punted him across the pen. Now his hackles go up every time I walk in the pen. Not gonna have that.

    Latest jumbo egg another double-yoker.

I've got one that lays those too. I'm not sure which of my girls it is, but she lays about every other day and it's a huge double yolker. She's been laying for about a month now. Hope it continues. The other two still lay soft and/or weird shaped lumpy ones.
