One of my chickens died and I had a very good bonded pair. They were lost without eachother and couldn't do anything without eachother. I don't know what to do and what would happen to her. They were together since hatch an never left eachother. Anyone got ideas?
The Light Brahma, had a small pea comb but now he has a huge red pea comb. We have one that is fully feathered and I believe "she" is a girl. Her comb is small unlike the other brahma.
In the third picture you have, looks like one of my brahmas. Our other is fully feathered. The chick in the picture I posted is actually getting a large red pea comb. (Three rows of peas).
I have two right now. Our one brahma is fully feathered and the two still are growing. We are suspecting one to be a roo and one to be a female but we aren't sure if the other is a roo.
Our roo mated with our chicken with a broken leg twice. The other time he goes around my blind chicken with his wing down (supposedly that's the mating dance?) and she has no idea what's happening. We have another chicken with a problem in her crop.. and another that is bonded to this chicken. I...
Another thing, do I remove my special needs chickens from the rooster and other hens? We have a chicken with a broken leg and another that is blind. They are so vulnerable that they can't move around that good.
