    Thanks for the reply...I overreacted...I think she just over ate ...that mass must of been her crop ...kept her isolated overnight she’s fine today

    I have a chick with an infection...she definitely has a fever because she is shivering and she has a soft mass that developed quickly over a couple days ...do you suggest draining the mass also can you give chickens antibiotics

    Our Little hen was attacked today. Likely a dog. She was wet. A large tear in her skin ~3cm x5 cm with two puncture wounds causing a 0.5 cm x 0.5 cm by 0.5 cm muscle injury each. We closed her skin with sutures and washed with diluted betadine. She is limping. Her breathing is regular, panting...

    Hello Everyone!!!

    Thanks all for the greetings!!! The Hens finally learned to drink from the Nipples yesterday! Now I don't have to worry about a frozen water supply for the winter. I used the double bucket heat tape method.

    poll: are you legal or an outlaw?

    Legal- I think the municipal codes states that You can't have Pigs, sheep, cows, goats or any wild animal with the exception of reptiles or birds. Last time I checked Chickens are Birds! Of Coarse, I will not be going to the village hall to ask. Figure if I don't ask they can't say No!!!
