When a neighbor moved out and left a Rooster and Hen behind. Called the city shelter, they do not take farm animals. The two chickens roosted under our carport on the rail for the handicapped ramp. The second night they stayed here a possum or weasel slaughtered the hen on our back porch. It was horrific. So my bride elected to rescue the rooster and find him a few friends to hangout with, we named him RooDee.
